The Solano Feral Cat Group/ TNR Task Force does not provide routine screening tests for FeLV/ FIV at our clinics for the following reasons:
We may perform FeLV/FIV tests on a case by case basis as determined by the veterinary team. These tests can be one facet used to determine whether a sick animal may be suffering and should not be released. For more information on feral cats and FeLV and FIV, please visit the following sites: |
